Meet Ms. Davis!
Teacher at Twain Mesa
Hello and welcome to Mark Twain High School! My name is Ms. Davis, and I am looking forward to another positive school year, full of academic learning and personal growth. This is my 22nd year working for SDUSD. However, this is only my 2nd year teaching at Twain High. I am extremely happy to be a part of an amazing and supportive school and community. Prior to Twain High, I taught 7th grade science at Standley Middle and chemistry at Mission Bay High.
Born in sunny San Diego and raised in the community of Clairemont, I graduated from Madison High. I stayed local for college and received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry from San Diego State University. After graduating, I continued my education at San Diego State University, where I received my single subject teaching credential in science. In addition, I earned a master’s degree in education with a STEAM emphasis from the University of San Diego. I am now pleased to be focused on instruction and facilitating my students' learning in the classroom.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with family and friends, going on new adventures and making amazing memories! I love visiting our national parks and spending time in the great outdoors. I also practice Iyengar Yoga.
